Sims 4 'Not responding'

When I try to launch the game or open it I get a small box in the top left hand corner of my screen.

When I go to it it says 'not responding'

I AM SERIOUSLY ANNOYED BY THIS!!!!

I tried reinstalling it, restarting my PC and shutting everything down.

Some people say you can repair it but I don't know how to?

Please I am begging for an answer that actually works or suggestions. Please I'm desperate.

I broke down in tears a few days ago because I got so frustrated.

PLEASE HEEEEEELLLLLPPPPP!!!!!!!

Right-click on the Origin icon in your task bar and choose EXIT
Restart Origin and check if it updates
If it does, try the game
If it doesn't, check your Origin version under HELP. If it's not 9.6.11, uninstall Origin and get the newest version here: http://origin.com/download
