Can't confirm code

I bought the sims 3 in origin and I was able to download a couple things from the exchange last night, but now it's telling me I need to register my game. I entered the code that it shows in the product details and it tells me it can't confirm the code.

@ellieaddison16  Are you signing in with the same email and password you use for Origin?  Are you using the store site or the launcher to download?
