Sims 4 Build mode and facial editing issues [ Edited ]

Hello,

I'm having a problem with my Sims 4. Once I enter build mode, the build mode menu won't come up, its simply showing the map with a grid around it. In order for me to get out of build mode with this glitch, I have to completely restart my computer (which doesn't help this glitch). Another problem is when I try to create a person in facial detail mode, it will zoom in on the sim's stomach, instead of the face. I think it may have something to do with the new toddler update, because when I click the toddler option, nothing will come up. Any suggestions?

Are you using mods in your game ?  If so, please remove them

If not, please try repairing your game by right-clicking on the game in Origin

I have the same exact problem I can't build or edit face. I don't use mods.

Have you tried repairing the game through Origin ?
