Sim can sit on bed but not sleep

For some reason, my sim has been unable to sleep in the beds. I tried placing base game beds and modded beds, but he refuses saying that the path is blocked. But when I tell my sim to sit on the bed he's fine with it. I have put my bed in a completely open grass field and yet somehow he doesn't want to sleep on it. I have tried fixing the game via origin and resetting the sim, but it doesn't work.

Is the terrain flat?

Does it has right amount of room to go to bed?

Can you show me the screenshot of the bed, maybe if I see it I might give better advice.

My sims can only relax in bed or watch TV but they won't sleep. How do I fix it to where they can sleep? Please help

@alitawinchester , you need to insure that the terrain under the structure is flat. Did you flatten the lot before building on it?
