My origin has been offline for weeks. I put it in administration mode, I've gone offline then online, logged out rebooted my mac and redownloaded origin but still no solution

@rachel_desire Try clearing the Origin cache.
https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/clear-cache-to-fix-problems-with-your-games/

Make sure Origin is authorized by your antivirus and firewall.
Check if iPv4 is activated.

You can also try resetting the Windows hosts file.

Make sure the time / date is set correctly on the PC
If that doesn't help, try to start origin in a clean bot.

@rachel_desire  Please do a clean uninstall and reinstall of Origin, as described in this article:

If that doesn't help, try using a different internet connection, for example using your phone as a mobile hotspot.  (Make sure it's using data, not your home wifi.)  If this works, try powercycling the router.

@x--Fusi--x  The original poster has a Mac, as mentioned, so Windows troubleshooting won't be relevant.
