[Mac] Origin not connecting

@gcimperial  I've merged your post into the master thread on this issue.  Please try the suggestions in the initial post and let us know if any of them worked for you.  It would also be great if you could provide your computer's specs.

Most probably that something is interfering with Origin connecting in your normal user account. Did you check the proxy settings?

Ive tried everything, i reinstalled origin and i get the same "could not connect to server" error whenever i try to log in, I've spent a lot of money on the games and now i can't even play them. Im almost positive its not my mac because it was working fine even after the last update, so i don't know what's going on.

@emiliathepanda  I've moved your post to the master thread covering this issue.  Please try signing into Origin in a new user account on your Mac (make sure it's an admin account).  If that doesn't help, try the other suggestions in the first post, and please let us know if any of them helped.  It would also be great if you could share your computer's specs, as well as whether you're using an antivirus/firewall, and which one.

@BluebellfloraNot sure how to do that. Iv not changed anything on my mac at all. It was litrally play Sims 4 one night go to bed. Wake up in the morning and try to open it and I have the issue. Nothing happened inbetween. This is why im so confused.

Let me know what you think I should do and I will see if it works.

Thank you soooooo much for your help and if all else fails I just need to make a Sims 4 User on my Mac to play lol.

Ok. It could be one of several things. My opening post lists a few things to try. At least it works in the new account you created

@Bluebellfloraiv tried everything thats been posted and more. I think im better off making the seperate acount for playing. Instead of wasting time. Thanks for your help.
