Does your Sim look bored all the time? Even when you think they are having fun, they look bored to you? Not a problem anymore. It’s been… taken care of.
Fixed in Patch 1.68.154/ 1.33

I notice my sims been doing that as well. I think the moods are messed up.

Yup, me too. They seem to be having some kind of negative reaction to their environment. I'm trying to make it go away by adding more artwork to my walls but I am running out of walls! My Sim does this outside and I already have 17 decorative plants out there.

Mine will still use the bored idle on an empty lot.

Since the June 3 patch I noticed my YA sims do this action upon entering a room or arriving on a lot. Even with a positive moodlet, they would either hunch over or throw their head back with bored expressions.

I think this is by design. I noticed it too and then realised that one of the new features in the patch is that environment scores have been added to wallpaper and floors, and the sims are probably reacting to that.

Thank GOODNESS someone else is having this problem!
I couldn't load my saved game after the update, so started a new game and noticed it then. Now that I can play my saved game again, it's happening with every single Sim and it's driving me nuts. They're acting like spoiled brats who need constant entertaining!

Oh Lordy, I sure hope not. When my Sim sits on the toilet and laments how bored she is......Gah!

Added +1 Me Too.
Before I put my mods back in, I noticed this too. When I first load in, after they wake up, before they eat - constantly acting bored, even when they're in other moods or emotions. After placing my mods back (I use MCCC to disable emotion idles) it's stopped. Thank goodness. Still, a permanent solution without having to use a mod would be better.
