Crafted Bathub keeps reappearing

I placed a crafted bathtub in Build mode and later removed it, only to find it had returned when I re-loaded my game the next day. However, while it is the same bathtub, the origianl was stored in my inventory. At first I enjoyed the novelty, but I have 8 bathtubs in my household inventory and I sold several more. Nothing I do changes the fact that it will re-appear the next time I return to the game.
