Banned for no reason

I have no idea what happens when you get banned.

I assume they have to show you some sort of proof.

Especially if you payed for stuff on your account.

But well reading your story your not getting the details regarding the ban and ONLY the fact that your not getting any info is wrong imo.

If someone payed for their account they deserve info regarding the ban.

It doesn't matter if the ban is wrong or right.

The fact that your are banned i can't judge.

I have another account, for origin, and this is a free game, so im playing it again, with my friend. Its just absurd, that i got banned, for doing nothing wrong.

This is the only "explanation" i got: After thoroughly investigating your account and concern, we again found that we actioned your account correctly after it was found to have violated our User Agreement. We will also be unable to provide any details regarding our internal procedures.

Their investigation is legit, and i cheated, but they can not tell me why because of the procedure details.

@HabockyThe only thing i can think of is that i said * in chat like 3 times, but i dont think thats enough for a ban. Especially as their own user agreement states that first i should be warned.

You are right, but if thats the case, they should get me a warn. Or at least tell me it was because of it. I never harassed people. But when another player is afk and waits for just an XP. i Ask them what the luck is wrong with you? Or someone loses a game for being selfish, i told them: ffs dude, get me.

If this is harrassing people, and its worth not a warn, but an instant ban, then im quilty and im sorry, that im wasting everybodies time. But the fact the user agreement states, that i should be warned first, and that i got nothing as an expanation. ( they can not tell me that it was for bad language, cuz i may know something about the methods they use to get cheaters???) Its writen down, that they are checking game files on my computer, and record matches... And still if this is the case, i think half the community should be banned...

@Habocky Yeah, that sucks. 100% you got reported by a t-mate. One or both. They probably used every option when reporting you, so EA cannot pinpoint the exact reason, whether it be spam, suicide threats or anything else. Sucks dude

Someone speaks with you openly and frankly about their past, in an all too honest attempt to be transparent in every way and your first instinct is to distrust him.

You're saying you would have trusted a liar far easier than someone whose history you could see and judge openly. Regardless of whether he cheated or not, simply based on his first transgression in which you had no record of until reported, his revelation, comes off as cause for distrust. Omission, would have been preferable to you, according to this.

Says a lot about people when this happens. Also it frightens me how easily people are willing to side with a developer who can ban any single one of you, and when you come here for aid, knowing the mentality you'll face. You're now one of those people, and I cant imagine you'll enjoy it when if it happens to you.

If this is some elitist mindset, that it never will because you simply don't cheat, it's a naive one. There are plenty examples of injustices like this, such as Fallout 76 fiascos, in recent memory. I suggest some more understanding in these moments, instead of the assumption of guilt only to secure a feeling of calm that you're somehow protected from such a thing by doubling down on the idea of infallibility in an all too automated system such as EAC, which has no appeal process, or customer service option, for something as vital as a lockbox for what could amount to hundreds of dollars of your time and money.

Streamers recently banned by Epic have gone through hell and gotten unbanned simply because of their fame. This won't happen for you and I. They aren't your friends. I know that neither am I, or the OP, or anyone else you want to think you're so different from... but we can be in the same boat pretty fast in all too nebulous situations and I'd rather be on this side of the line than the one you're all standing on right now, when it finally happens to you.

We all want to think the guy getting handcuffed and escorted from their home is in the wrong. They had to have done something. The system works. It always does. Right?

You’re entitled to your opinion, the way I see it, he’s looking for acceptance and ammunition to having slightly bent the rules.

Acknowledging to his actions in the past is by no means a justification to belittle and omit his present circumstances.

If you had read the entire thread, which I doubt you did, he’s admitting to talking crap to other players on multiple occasions, and since you base your opinion on facts (sarcasm), I’d love for you to confirm, and share with us, to what degree the OP was abusive with his words, or PM’s, to other players.

If this was my situation, which won’t happen cause I don’t talk $hit when playing Apex, nor do I cheat (again admitted by the OP) I’d be taking it up with EA personally, and not resorting to random people on forums that probably won’t be able to help him with his dilemma.

Again, just my opinion, but if you ban an account, with the following confirmation, isn’t that self-explanatory?
