December 2017
I've tried installing the game 4 or 5 times now and every time I get the same message popping up:
"Fatal Error: Installation of the driver and support components require administrative permission acknowledgement. Try invoking the client again. Installer cannot continue. Exiting."
This is really strange to me because not only am I running the launcher as administrator every time, I have also installed and played SWTOR on this PC with no issue in the past. Any help would be appreciated.
PS: I have attached a screencap of the error message for anyone who wants to see

Let me know if that sorts it fully

Should I put the shortcut in the folder I created?

The shortcut is meant to be a desktop shortcut

No the idea is that the launcher repair utility is run (double click on it) in that folder it will extract all the game files into that folder
Then there will be a launcher.exe that you create a desktop shortcut for
Edit - Make the folder though where you want to game installed like c:\swtor for example . this looks like you created the swtor folder on the desktop
