thesims3.com and Origin account not linking

My account details for both sites are the same but when I login to the website it asks me for the key.  When I enter the key it says it's invalid.  I can launch the game fine from Origin but I can't access any of the online services since the login keeps asking for a key.

Choose a category, a game and a platform for the contact options to show up.

If live chat is gray, change your country to US and make sure you're on US Business hours. It might also gray because they're very busy. Try later.
