sims 3 wont even load

I just bought sims 3 movie stuff expansion pack when i downloaded it than tried to install it, it told me that sims 3 base game was not downloded through origin and needed to be uninstalled than re-installed so i did this than i tried installing the movie pack and it said i needed to update it so i tired to open sims 3 and it gives me an error and wont even open/load at all.....so i have unistalled it two more times and re installed it and still wont even load WHAT THE HELL.....please help i am a good customer who has almost all of the expansion packs

Try downloading the patch manually here:
