fullbuild0 corrupted or missing - The Sims 3

Hey guys.

When i try to open Sims It closes and a popup message says:

" The file or directory C:\ ...etc... \shared\packages\fullbuild0.package is corrupt and unreadable.

please run the chkdsk"

I did that and it didn't work

Please please please can someone tell me how to fix this

Yes it did work.

I uninstalled sims then restarted my computer. Chkdsk then ran and then i reinstalled sims.

Working perfectly again

Did chkdsk find any errors on your hard drive ? Did the game ever work for you ?
