The sims 3 is glitching like crazy

I’ve been playing the sims 3 with no problem on my laptop and recently when I tried to enter the game, the whole map started glitching. It was flashing and switching between the loading screen and the map, if that makes sense? It was just going crazy and I’ve tried repairing it in origin but nothing works, help!

@beabree Does this happen only when loading one particular save, or all of them? Please try a new save, for comparison, and let me know.

Please also run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.
