The Sims 3 Freezing

My game keeps on freezing and buffering. The weird thing is that I can still see other things move like the cold breathe coming from a sim's mouth or the flame moving on a tiki torch. I am able to move my mouse around, but it is frozen to what it was last hovering over until it unfreezes. Something I have realized is that my game has never been this bad before I bought Minecraft. I hope I do not have to get rid of Minecraft. It cost 30 bucks.

Unless Minecraft is eating up all of your hard drive space or you have it running at the same time as the game, that should not be the cause of your issue.

Try resetting all your Sims in your town with resetsim *

To do so

• Open the cheat console with ctl-shift-c
• Type resetsim * (including the *)

This should put all your sims and animals to a safe location.

You might have a stuck Sim somewhere
