Sims 3 Pets Game Installed but isn't playing

Bought the sims 3 pets twice now. Downloaded and installed along with other expansions packs. When I play the sims, it's as though pets doesnt exist. When I try to change options, it says that Pets Expansion is required. I can't find a way to uninstall from origin to reinstalll. Help!

What's your operating system ?

TBH, try get a refund for that second copy. You do not need to buy the game twice.

Does it show up on the Origin client in myGames at all ?
