I just downloaded sims 3 from Origin yesterday and my product code won't work. I have no idea why this is beacuse I obviously haven't used it yet because I just bought the game. I am also positive I am entering the code in right because first the game automaticly put the code in for me in the game and that didn't work so I tried to type it in manually and it still won't work.
Help me please!

If live chat is gray, change your country to US and make sure you're on US Business hours. It might also gray because they're very busy. Try later.

I have the same problem! I'm trying to download sims 3 university life from Origin and it says the code is already used and i never had the game! Origin needs to fix this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so frustrated!

I've had the disk for a while and it wouldn't install normally so I tried through origin, which I never use cause I don't like it and it sats that my code has been used?! Like WTF?! I let no one on my computer and it's with me 24/7 due to work

@shaz260265 Is it possible that you already registered the code at some previous point? If the corresponding game or pack doesn't show up in your Origin library or on your profile page at the Sims 3 store, you might have multiple accounts. In that case, EA customer support could merge the accounts for you.
It's also possible that EA messed up somewhere along the line. You could contact support with your disc, case, insert, and any other proof of purchase/ownership that you have, and you might be able to convince an agent to issue you a new code. If you get someone unhelpful, you can try again later.
If you bought the game or pack used, however, the previous owner could have registered the code a long time ago. Unfortunately, EA doesn't allow codes to be transferred from one person to another, so you'd have to repurchase.
