My Sims 3 keeps Crashing my computer

Hello my name is Ashleigh. I Have a PC.Laptop. I originally had the game downloaded through a disc. But recently my CD-rom stopped working so I had to uninstall the Sims 3, and re install through origin. Ever sense I re installed form origin it seems to crash my computer almost every time I play the Sims. It never does it at any certain point. I can be playing for hours no problem, but then bam everything will freeze and that blue screen will pop up. Its gotten to a point where I have to ask for help.

Blue Screen ? LIke the Windows Blue screen of Death ?

That is usually hardware related.

Is your computer getting really hot ? Do you see any messages on the blue screen ?
