HELP! sims 3 launcher wont open!

I just bought a sims 3 starter pack and it came with just sims 3 sims 3 late night expansion pack and high-end loft stuff and i set it up and i was playing it, and when i shut down my laptop now it wont work.

Does Origin start to login or is that started ? Is it just the launcher ?

Are you starting from Origin or the shortcut ?
