HEEELP!!!! SIMS 3 WON'T DOWNLOAD THROUGH ORIGIN!!!!!

My lil sis brought sims 3 CD from singapore. it is not downloading. it loads. like for example, it may go to 60%. but after a while i see that it is noe agin at 40%. this is the problem. now it is even worse when i try. it dosent load even 1%. i am really depressed about this.

Are you sure they are authentic and not some pirated version ?

What's your operating system ?

Did you get a sealed DVD with a code ?

i have windows 7. and i am sure that it is original cause i got the code inside the DVD.

• Are you installing from disc or downloading through Origin ?
• Does the disc have any scratches ?
• Did you register the code on Origin and did you have any issues with that ?

when i put in the disc it says to install it through origin.  CD had small scraches. no problem with registering the code i guess.

Yeah, but is it going to install right away or does it try to download the game ?

Try going to setup.exe on your disc and see what happens when you double click on it.

even than it start installing through origin.

Yes, it will start Origin and you will need to login through Origin but it should not start downloading the game. It should go straight to installing. Does it not do that ? Does it say download or install in the client ?

OK,

so make sure nothing is blocking your connection to Origin like firewall or antivirus

Also try using a LAN instead of wifi
