An error keeps poping up when i try to reinstall sims 3

what  do i do when an error pops up and says......(The setup has detected that version 1.38.151 of the Sims 3 is already installed.

This setup installs an earlier version of the sims 3 (1.0.631).

You will have to uninstall the previous version before installing this version) when i try to reinstall sims 3

yep this is the problem.i deleted everything from the sims 3 file as in electronic arts instead of uninstalling it properly .because a worm or some kind of virus kept eating and copy and pasting my files so i was stressed out about this and i forgot to uninstall it.

please i really need help im so **bleep** pissed about this matter.please help me.but i didnt uninstall properly by going to programs and feature.instead i went and delted the whole sims 3 folder inside the electronic arts folder.

I followed everystep there and there are no sims 3 files anywheres but i still get the error message when i try to install please help
