Ping on the main screen (60ms) page is not the same as in-game ping (180+)

Hello,

As the heading suggests I get different pings in-game and main menu/datacenter. During the game it keeps jumping between 60ms - 180ms - 350ms. recently it jumps to 450 ping also

This is apex specific problem and not all game problems, I have 100 Mbps net so I don't think its bandwidth limitation or something.

Please help me I want to play apex I upgraded my PC to play apex and now I cant play apex.

I did try that. No change, this happens only on apex and no other game. What to do? Can't play properly cause of 300 ping

Currently having the same issue here... I tried everything from updating drivers to connecting to different internets (we have like 3 in the house) and nothing exactly helped the matter. it says 60-78 ping on server select and on in game menu but when you go into game it keeps jumping up and down. I tested out other online games just to be sure but the issue only happens on apex.

Where do you have apex legends installed? I had an issue where my ping would be very high and game would stutter alot, then i moved apex to my ssd then the problem was fixed.

Oh yeah I was wondering why the sentinel kept ignoring my charge I thought it was lag but i guess thats another problem lol...
