The Sims 3 registration code not sent through email

I am wondering how long does it take for the registration code for a digitally ordered and downloaded The Sims 3 to be sent to my email from the time my order was placed and accepted?

try this log into your origin account from the desktop with the email and password you used for your account if the game icon show up in your orign    right click the game icon-show game details your code should be there to download right clcik game icon-download  make a note of your code have pen and paper handy if you already have the origin open on the desktop log out log back in then
