Gift an Item (store content) I've already purchased for myself

Hi, I'd like to use my simpoints to gift an item (Large as Life Movie Screen) to another player (Ctchristian), but I've already purchased this for myself the other week and it's not giving me the option. Please can you help?

@JennaAnn85 you will need to go to the item's page ( http://store.thesims3.com/productDetail.html?productId=OFB-SIM3:62503 ) and choose "gift this item"

@JennaAnn85 unfortunately you would have to purchase it again for them, it's the way the system works

I'm happy to re-purchase I just can't find a way to do it.

I've tried that, but when I go to the items page, because I have a copy of the item myself, that option is no longer available.
