I am also having this exact same issue. Honestly, it is super frustrating that there are SO many things wrong with the Mac version of this game. It feels as though EA didn't care enough to listen to us and fix it, and now, to this day, we are all still frustrated by the same glitches that have existed for 3+ years. If anyone has any tips as to how I can create a mod to fix this, by all means, I am open to comments. I will need to learn to mod, but I am sick of dealing with this and I am willing to fix it myself.

I noticed that the webpage pulled up in Italian (or a similar language I don't recognize; I'm sorry to all Italians if I am wrong haha). Am I doing something wrong?

@china356  If you look closely at the link, it contains an it that will direct the site to load the Italian version.  This is the same as when you see en or en_us or similar for English.  You can change the it to the letters for the language of your choice, or use this link:

@AilaLilae  Nope, no fix at this time.  I have heard that when you go to Map View or Edit Town, then back to the lot in question, the terrain paint often does appear where it was painted, but that's obviously not an ideal situation.

@puzzlezaddict That's better than nothing. I wish there was a modder who could figure out a fix so that we wouldn't have to wish on EA.
