Game launches but won't stay open

I've been having this issue for a while now and it's really frustrating that an issue like this happens in a game from a AAA studio.

I can launch the game fine, and the game opens but immediately minimizes. I can hover over the icon in the taskbar and see that it's loading, but anytime I click on it to open again it shifts around any open programs as if it's resizing the window and minimizes again.

This happens on a fresh install too. I've tried all the solutions for running repairs, deleting folders, and all that stuff.

This vaguely sounds familiar. Have you tried adjusting the video settings in game? For example, changing to/from full screen or different resolutions?
