newest windows update

so I updated my windows to the newest version "KB4512508" and now whenever I load sims 4 I get to the loading screen and the game closes its self any tips would be appreciated

Please try completely removing the Nvidia drivers using DDU https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html then download and install the latest driver from nvidia.com.

Do you have any Mods or CC? If so move your Mods folder to the Desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. Then test the game.

If it works now check for updates to your Mods and CC. Add it back a little at a time while testing until you have found all that are broken.

it keeps happening with other games aswell every time windows updates some games stop working but atm its only sims i've tried removing the mods and it still doesn't work i get to the main menu then if i leave it for 1-2 mins the game closes its self
