Sims 4 and Origin won't launch

I am unable to launch Sims 4 and Origin!

The other day an update for origin came up so I waited for it to update, but once it was finished, another one came up and another one,I left it for a while and they never stopped so I turned off my internet and opened origin the offline way and then turned my internet back on to find that it said that Sims needed updating so i couldn't play it. However when I clicked 'update' nothing happened. I decided to close origin completely to try again. After that whenever I try to open origin or the Sims 4 nothing happens. I have tried resetting me laptop, turning it off, everything! PLEASE HELP

Could you try re-installing Origin, just download a new version from Origin.com, and if that doesn't work cleaning the Origin cache: http://sims4.crinrict.com/en/2014/09/delete-origin-cache-files/
