Please help! While playing the sims my screen goes black and freezes my pc. i cant do anything except force restart.
I feel like i have tried everything.
I have cleared all my cache both sims and origin, Repair game, Updated my graphics driver, Replaced my motherboard battery, Check disk scan.
I even thought it might be over heating so i have Msi Afterburner set up and i got my side case removed and it still goes black!
I have been playing on max settings for years and now all of a sudden this happens. I feel my pc can handle this as did before.
Is there something i have missed?

OK so i seemed to have fixed this issue.
I have stopped using msi afterburner. Apparently another clocking system can cause such events.
I also reinstalled the graphics driver thought G force experience and done a clean reinstall though custom setting.
I also changed my power setting though the advanced option and turn off PCI link state power management.
I've been playing for hours now two days in a row without a black out.
