Can you use thrust master T80 for NFS Payback?

I own a Thrustmaster T80 steering wheel. When I use it for NFS Payback everything works except the steering. Does anyone know why?

The T80 is not currently officially supported.

We’ve partnered with Logitech to ensure the following wheels will be officially supported:

• Logitech G29
• Logitech G920
