the same problem: I can't play any single mode for more than 2 weeks, I get the message " There was a problem communicating with the Fifa Ultimate Team servers. Try again later"

I don't have an update on this. It's still being investigated. I'm very sorry for how long this is taking, but we are trying to get this resolved as soon as possible.
