Dragon Age 2 for Macintosh Install Crash

Hello, 

I recently received Dragon Age 2 for Mac as a gift. I cannot get the intstaller to stop crashing. Is there a fix for this? Nothing seems to work. I've reset PRAM, created a guest account, and run the install as a sudo command from terminal—no luck. Thanks for your help.
