Red Alert 2 issue Story Mode

I am having issues playing the story mode of red alert 2. When I am to start a story mode, all the troops die right away. For the Allies campaign, tanya die right away. With the USSR campaign, the troops die right away and the command centre explodes. Is there a way to fix the bug?

It's a malfunction in the old Westwood copy protection. The main way to get around it is to make sure to install with full administrator rights, and make sure to enable administrator rights in the file properties of all executable files in the game folder. It's in the "compatibility" tab when you open the file's properties.
