Cant download origin and apex

Hello I have had problems with apex starting about 5 days ago, my game would close itself in the middle of a match. I have tried to uninstall everything and install it back again. 
When I was trying to install origin yesterday I kept getting the error code 20:99 and the installer stopped.

Eventually I installed origin(I just kept trying until it did), after that I tried to install apex, but I do not know why, the download rate would be steady 20-40mb/s and then it would drop slowly or instantly to 0 and be stuck. To solve that I had to pause the update and start it again, but it had the same problem until the game was downloaded. Unlucky me, after I finished downloading it, the new update dropped.

I had to make the update, and again same problem. Just that I am not able to do it as it is stuck and does not go up at all.

I have made all updates to my network drivers, new updates to windows, I have used the tron software for those who know it, it makes sure your system is clean and repairs windows as well

I have tried to run the origin installer as administrator, still error code 20:99. I reset the host files, made a clean boot.

Apex game closed during matches>Tried to repair it(got stuck)> Uninstalled everything apex and origin> tried to install origin> error code 20:99 installer failed> repeated until I installed it> install apex> download rate would drop to zero> Now I am not able to install origin as I uninstalled everything again

I have resolved the problem of the origin installer, I have found the solution of reddit from the user Soonlar, the solution is to install an older version of origin and uncheck the keep origin and my games up to date. Sorry to hear that you are having issues @Andy_Cross1.

Can you try the following steps to see if they help:

• Flush your DNS
• Reset your host files
• Switch to Google public DNS

@EA_Darko Sure I will try right now, I have already tried resetting the host files prior to the post and it did not work, I will do the other 2 rn

Hey @Andy_Cross1 this is generally a temporary fix, to ensure that it continues to work you will need to find out what on your system is causing the issue.
