I'm glad it worked for you also NinjaReborn94 Standard smile

Now if only the saving issue could get solved I'd be a happy gamer again as well :/

After three separate downloads and a lot of cussing at the air i was able to solve this frustrating issue like this (mine was regarding the sims 4 especifically, though it may work with others): on the _Installer folder you will find the InstallLog.txt file, open that and see where the install failed. mine was while trying to install the 2010 x86 vcredist. on a whim, i uninstalled it and let origin install it itself and voila it worked.

Hope this helps anyone.

if its vcredist uninstall 2017 to install 2015 may work for other games

Been having issues installing the EasyAntiCheat software. Keeps throwing up this error and I have no idea what's causing it.

Especially once I look in the game folder itself and its installed just fine.

so, I was having this issue with a few games downloading all the way, installing, and throwing the error. What fixed it for me was turning off the UAC (I don't recommend this as it is a big security risk) on windows, and running origin in Admin mode. It seems like a permission error for me, and the program couldn't verify that it had installed some of the components needed.
