Apex 38% regedit fix for directx 4294967287 327684:1 error [ Edited ]

TO FIX GO INTO REGEDIT AND CHANGE THIS, NO RESTART IS REQUIRED.

Navigate to the following keys: 

Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\DirectX 
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\DirectX 

Then change the key 4.09.00.0904 to 4.08.00.0904

click on start button type in regedit hit enter, follow the folder directories listed then you will see this ab icon named Version type REG_SZ with version as data, double click it and change the 9 to a 8 in the data

there is another fix on the internet than changes the double digit data of the installeddata file above it but that didnt work for me

are you sure u have this exact error? have you tried installing june 2010 directx from microsoft download page? or even the websetup, what about installing the june 2010 with all cab files removed from extracted folder? also do a sfc /scannow in cmd ran as admin, have u done all windows 10 updates?

Also worked for me. I was getting DirectX logs like this when trying to download/install Origin games: "02/15/19 19:20:10: infinst: C:\Windows\system32\d3dx9_29.dll have been installed already.
02/15/19 19:20:10: infinst: Installing C:\Users\aaron\AppData\Local\Temp\DX62D7.tmp\XACT_x64.inf [DefaultInstall]"

Only got logs like this with a handful of dll files, almost as if my computer was saying "these files exist so I'm blocking this installation." Then Origin decides the DirectX installation is a failure, so then too is the game installation. I tried removing the handful of dll files, but that didn't work. The Origin DirectX installation would replace the files and I would get the same logs. Makes no sense to me why my computer would behave this way, BUT this did fooled it into allowing full fresh DirectX installs, thanks!

I can't believe this worked.  It baffles me that Origin just wouldn't work because a newer version of DirectX was already installed.

Hey man, I got the same problem as yours, I am unable to fit it due to I can navigate to the key provider, would u give me a hand.
