Sims 4 not launching

I have a MacBook Pro and I've been experiencing something similar...

I uninstalled and reinstalled Origin and the game is gone. I have all the expansion packs and many many hours of gameplay that have disappeared. How do I get my game back?

Your post has been moved to the Mac forum. What is the issue? Your game isn't installed anymore or your Sims 4 folder containing your saves etc. is missing?

The Game itself and all the expansion packs are gone. They aren't showing up in my library

Have you moved the base game and Sims 4 Packs folder to a different location on your Mac? Please open Terminal and copy and paste the following search command then hit Enter/Return:

find / -type d -name "*The Sims 4*" 2>/dev/null

After a little while it will return the results of the search. Please copy and paste the results in a post here.

@Bluebellflora When I uninstalled the Origin app it deleted my Sims game. I can't find it anywhere.
