Every time I try to play SIMS 3, all it says is "Cannot start the process when the game is running. Please quit the game and try again". I have quit the game and tried again so many times i've lost count. I have gone on your forums and looked up what i can do, followed links in which i need to change the coding or something along the lines of that, i have done everything i can possibly do to try and be able to play this game but nothing will work. I bought this game yesterday. Thats £30 down the drain. Money i'll never see again. i literally spent that money on nothing and thats why i'm so angry. its not like i've had it for years and its suddenly stopped working. i want my moneys worth and i'm really disappointed. There is not a link to any instructions that you can send me that i haven't already read and tried. PLEASE CAN SOMEONE HELLLLPPPPPP!!!

If you are using mac be sure to download the super patcher as the game is often times incompatible with the graphics card in macs - here is where you may download it: http://help.ea.com/en/article/the-sims-3-super-patcher/

You need to edit the graphics files as explained in this thread - http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-Mac/CURRENT-ISSUE-The-Sims-3-Issues-playing-on-newer-post-2013-Mac...
Also try just the base game, without HELS and LN.
The game is not compatible on most post-2013 Macs due to the graphics cards being unsupported. Did you buy the game through Origin? If so, have you contacted EA about a refund?
