I "slaughter" my way across the map.
Usually starting at artillery and fighting my way down to skull town then thunderdome.
I wipe all of artillery then I move on to cages, i wipe that area and the guys coming from slums.
On my war path I usually feel bad for that 1 battle hardened 1-shot guy after he has wiped the area prior to me arriving.
It is usually a pathfinder I catch looting after some massive kills.
I blast him with my Flatline before he has a chance to react or shield swap.
I feel kinda bad about it because I know how its like to wipe an entire area only to be 1 shot by a guy journeying through.
I feel giving this guy free full shields would make the encounter more interesting.
I would still wipe the guy, but I would like for the guy to have a fighting chance.
Every fight attracts attention. Sometimes camping cowards and some times journeying warlords on a warpath.

There's nothing cowardly about it. There are 60 players running around a finite area using insanely loud projectile weapons and bombs: of course that is going to draw attention. It's probably one of the more realistic combat elements of the game.

Conversely, maybe the devs could come up with a silent weapon. A squad could agree to use the silent weapons and not draw attention. The ol' projectile ballistic knife, or some kind of fletchering weapon or crossbow. Personally I love the fact that you can hear gunfire in the distance and rush to it. It's also sweet justice for the fallen when you see players looting death boxes and/or reviving a teammate and you roll in and put them all down.

Here is the issue I see with this idea. It will make it much much much more difficult for average players to beat top players. The casual gamer can take out a top player if they third party them. But there is no way a casual gamer is goingto stand a chance against a top player without that kind of advantage.
I see pros and * to both sides of the coin.
there have been times in which I'm in a battle have taken out most of 1 squad working on finishing off the last player. Then a third squad comes.. Sometimes you'll even take them out but then another squad comes and you just can't over take them. It's super annoying.
But there have also been times in which I have a bad loot. Come across a person/team who just killed a squad are two and we one shot them with white shields and bad guns. We then get decent loot and go on to finish in the top 5.

Could honestly become chaos in hot zones, specially early game.
Example: an enemy lucky enough to have landed on a purple armor knocks down a guy from "team 1".
You start fighting him and manage to get him to 1 hp. But meanwhile, somewhere else in the area, the two remaining players from "team 1" dies to other players and BOOM; suddenly the guy has a fully recharged purple shield again and you alt+f4...
Honestly, third partying is a part of the game and there is a lot of tactical skills, map awareness and decision making involved to minimize the risk of getting third partied.

I don't think 3rd-partying is an issue. You can do it too, also you always have an option to leave a fight. It is really a tactical decision. I like Apex as a fast-paced FPS. I don't want to see more teams avoiding fights because of some bad rules, like in Ranked. I like when a game rewarding tactical decisions, but i don't like when two squads sitting next to each other, hiding, and intentionally avoiding fights, because they try to camp themselves into top5 or top10. Same about 3rd-partying. I don't want to see squads avoid to join in a fight, because they afraid from one team have their shields recharged by killing the enemy.
Btw, i think the problem is, this game rewards killing over damaging. I think when you did 1500 DMG and 2-3 kills, you did better than someone who had like 600 damage and 6-7 kills. Yet, the game (in ranked mode) rewards for kills, and does not reward assists or damage. In result of this, squads often go for the easy kills. They go for respawns and try to 3rd-party other squads. Wait until a fight is over, and hit the surviving squad before they shield up / heal back. Not to mention frag stealing. I might be wrong, but i think if the game would reward kill assists and damage as well, people would more likely jump into a fight, than go for easy kills.
Of course other problems would appear, like damage farming, etc... but still i think that would be a better option.

I would argue that one of the biggest reasons I end up getting third partied is poor play by teammates. "Enemy over there".....like way over there and they firing on him with and R-99 or taking 30 sniper shots and missing which ATTRACTS EVERYONE'S ATTENTION! So now you are fighting the people you tried killing from across the map and the two or three other teams who heard you firing for 2 minutes. Kill enemies effectively and you will be third partied less.
If teams do not play smart then it isn't my fault if I take advantage of that or if I am taken advantage of for spraying bullets half way across the map.

I think this could be utilised as part of the level 4 armour.
I think regaining 50 shields after every kill would be enough to make it a sort after item and useful in long skirmishes while not making it particularly overpowered.
