I don't own Horse Ranch (yet...) but I did a test with Cottage Living. If @EA_Cade can confirm it works the same as devouring chickens, it does not seem to happen autonomously. I created a farm with a cow and a bunch of chickens (and no fence) in the middle of an Oasis Springs neighborhood. I then filled the surrounding 4 lots with 8 werewolves each, all with the voracious hunger ability (ability to devour "objects") and no fridges. I played for a Sim week and they left my animals alone, though I heard them howling in the neighborhood. Then I tried to force the issue by inviting a few werewolves for a stay over during the full moon. My Sim was not happy about it, but the animals were fine. The only way I had a chicken devoured was by adding one of the werewolves to the household and directly telling her to do so.

Whoa the game has taken a very dark turn. LOL So tempted to play a werewolf to test it out and also afraid to! Blood makes me queasy, even fake blood.

Pretty sure it’s only with the voracious hunger ability unlocked, and I’ve never seen it happen autonomously? Unless the goats & sheep work differently than the chickens.
Edit: There’s no blood. It’s the same animation as when they eat a chair or something. Again, this is at least with chickens, but I assume sheep & goats would work the same way.

As long as werewolves don’t visit my farm in Chestnut Ridge or Henford-on-Bagley automously and autonomously eat my livestock… 🤷🏻♀️
