How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? At level 6 you have to put in a player name but none of the names I try fits the 'required name format'.
What do you expect to see? I expect to accept a name so i can continue.

Additional feedback I have tried writing names with both big and small letters and also numbers. Nothing works.
When I reached level 6, a box came up asking me to put a player name in. I have tried all sorts of names but it won't accept anything. I have turned my phone off many times and also tried using 4G, but nothing worked. Also changed my keyboard from danish to english, but that did nothing either.

@JohanneTB02 can you update to the latest version of the game and check if this is still happening for you now? We released a new version yesterday

@JohanneTB02 it should be possible to write a name in several languages with different alphabets and also emojis.

@JohanneTB02 it should be possible to use any of those names. It should be even possible to include emojis.
Can you contact EA Customer Service about this issue?
To contact CS from the game, open the side menu, choose the gear icon, then the Help button.
This will open your browser, scroll down until you see Contact Us and choose Technical Support.

I'm slightly confused.
I can't access the game to contact them because of the player name popup box, that won't go away because it doesn't accept any names.
And the ea help link sends me to create a case just like this post, I think?
Also I contacted a guru on Twitter who sent me here.

@Dxddyjxromex This is an old thread from 2019 as you have noticed. The issue was then fixed.
