I do not agree with specialist being in the all out war mode, there should be traditional classes instead. Specialist sound like a better fit in the pseudo battle royale mode that's being introduced. With the insistence that hero specialists, that have access to any weapon loadout they want, it's a no for me. I have cancelled my pre-order.

Many good fixes, but I still think there needs to be a more clear distinction between the specialists, making them stand out if they are US or RU side ect. I'm all in for weapons being available to all specialists, but I still believe there needs to be some form of restriction to at least some of the gadgets, to further make it easy to know who runs with what/what role someone is playing!  Portal still seems to be the most interesting part of BF2042 to me!

@Straatford87  Thank you for the info, looking better! And looking forwarrd!

Few questions:

1) BF3,BF4,BF1, BFV stylish scoreboard was missing from beta, and it was not mentioned here, I hope we can see it in-game.

2) In-game chat was missing in beta or was disabled, it will be on the final product?

3) Clantags are needed, or platoons. If platoons are not ready yet (sure they are coming?), can we have a placeholder for the clantags meanwhile.

Commorose is coming so I will not ask about it.
Do we get a proper server browser for the servers as well?

Cheers.

@Straatford87 Specialist are a de-evolution not evolution. The classic class system is part of Battlefields core DNA. This feels like its trying to be another hero shooter game except even worse since you've got everyone running around with the same "best" specialist making it harder to tell what class they are and what weapons they've got. In battlefield 4 you could instantly tell just by looking at the soldier which class they belonged to as dice did an excellent job back then making character silhouettes.

@Straatford87 Selective hearing? There was an overwhelming “nope” from the community regarding specialists. I have bought every BF game since 1942 and Im sad to say this will be the first one I will pass on as you have simply killed the beating heart of the game by adding specialists and related monetisation potential. I play BF because I love teamwork and I think most longterm fans do - specialists have outright murdered the concept of teamwork in this game. If I want to play CoD or Siege, then I will play those games, not a half baked attempt at merging those games with battlefield that falls short of both those games and any historic battlefield game to date. You had something beautiful and you gave it away to chase a wider audience by merging styles but your logic is like this - people love hamburgers, people love chocolate, people love pizza: lets make a chocolate hamburger pizza! Thats not what people want and they are literally yelling at you to stop. But instead you fix the UI...
