Crashing [ Edited ]

My game has recently started crashing a few minutes into play.  I created a new town (Riverbrook) the crash happens after I have found jobs for my sims and have them reading books and painting.

I should note that this game has been working fine for a few days and my system met the requirments according the canirunit website.

What's your graphic card/chip ?

DId you try DEP as described here: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-3/FAQ-Game-Crashes-CTD/td-p/656/ ?

• Which EP/SPs do you have installed ?
• Are you using custom content and mods in your game ?

I'm running windows 7 home preimum

I have Ambitions, Pets Generations, and Seasons.

I just tried DEP and it still crashed

I am using no custom content that I can remember i may have downloaded somehting from the exchange but no mods or anyhting like that.

I am having an another issue, sometimes the game takes a long time to reach the save game screen and the music that plays in the loading screen slows down and buzzes slightly.

DId you change anything when it started not running anymore ? Does it happen in any savegame or just that particular one ?

I did change the season lengths of winter and summer to 14 days but thats it. I'm going to try starting another savegame soon...

For troubleshooting it's always good to know if it's a particular savegame or any savegame. You don't have to abandon your current one. Just make a new one to see if it also crashes.

I've done that and it crashed again in this one, I'll try it again though...

I just tried to move in a new house after switching the active family.  It crashed again...

OK I think I know what's causing the crash, any time I try to zoom back in from the world view to my house.  I really would like a solution to this problem I love the sims...

You haven't posted your graphic DxDiag. Could you post the part about the graphics on your computer ?
