My girlfriend and I just purchased The Sims 3, but we can't download it onto her computer because it says that the code is already in use. How can we download the game onto her computer so that we can both play at the same time?

Don't think you can. Only one person can be logged in an Origin account at one time so you can't both use the same account. If you wan to play at the same time, you will need to buy another game.
