i just bought the sims 3 and university life from origin and made an account. i found out that i used the wrong email after i already made an account with the sims 3 and when i tried to change the email it wouldnt let me change it to the correct email but it let me change it to a different email. because the two accounts are not connected the game launcher wont let me update so i tried to make a new sims account with the new email but every time i try to log in through the launcher the window closes after i hit enter but the account is not logged in. when i tried using incorrect information the window would stay open and say account not logged in. why wont the sims let me log in with my new account that is connected to origin but it will let me log in with the old account with the old email

Try clearing your browser cache or use a different browser.
If that doesn't help, get in touch with a customer support game advisor so they can sort out your accounts
