Sims 3 vs. Windows 10

About a month ago, I was playing Sims 3 and I was moving my folders around and organizing them to "de-clutter" my PC. I log back in to origin and noticed my time tracker went from over 5000 hours played to only 2000 hours played. I thought it was strange but played Sims 3 as normal. All my expansions were there but as soon as I go to another world or the university, there's a serious bug that my sims and other icons don't appear! I tried to reorganize my folder to its default settings and has NOT worked. I don't know what else to do and I miss my Sims! HELP! (And I should also mention all these issues started when I installed windows 10!)
