SIMS3 STARTER PACK

I BOUGHT the sims 3 starter pack tonight plus I added the 10.00 pack of sims points I went to origin started the downloads it keeps telling me I need to download the first of the 3 before I can continue but it wont let me anyway the other 2 r downloaded but wont install because something went wrong with the download of hte first one sims e3 how do I start over to fix this mess ty

Remove anything related to the game from your computer, try uninstalling following the instructions here: http://simswiki.info/wiki.php?title=Game_Help:TS3_Uninstall

Also try the suggestion here: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-3/Help-Guide-All-in-one-fix-except-hardware-issues-PC-only/m-p/734... where it says Delete game installers

Then reinstall, starting with the base game.
