HELP!!!! My Sims3 graphics are messed up

I have had my Sims awhile and recently got a new computer with Windows 8. When I play my game the town is all messed up everything is bright yellow and jumpy. I can see the people in create a family but the mirror and everything else is jumpy and bright. What do I do!!!!

Is it just in the game or do you have issues in other programs as well ?
What is your graphic card ?
Did you update your drivers recently ?
