Cannot Register My New Sims Account [ Edited ]

I've only been on the store once or twice for my sims only to browse but I got interested in simpoints and this is my first account I have just one problem though I made a account through EA and it doesn't seem to want to register me into the sims community. It gives me red text saying password must be 14-16 characters long. And it said to give your email for your EA account. I just don't get it if you make a password should it be the password for your email account since it specifically asks you for your email.

Does it not give you the option to use the existing Orgin account instead of making a new one ?
