1.50 update
I have just come back to the game asfter not playing for 6 months. I have never had any problems prior and i had several expansions, late night, pets ambitions and world adventures. I had them added to origion. Howver i added mastewr suite and now it continues to crash continually in create a sim. I unistalled all games and origion, i bought a new base game on disc and only installed base game and pets, and it still crashes after 5-10 mins in create a sim. i am on 1.50 update is there known issues now that only the base game is updated or that it must go through origion. I have a toshibia laptop which is 3 years old howvwer as stated previously i never had any previous problems. i also updated my browser mozilla and wonder if this is an issue and updated internet explorer should i put my laptop back to a previous save. My husband is having the exact same issues on his computer any ideas would be welcome. I have disabled the DEP too

Just a word of warning: Mac users seem to have even more issues cause the game isn't natively programmed for Macs but uses cider.

Could you post your Computer's DxDiag ? The info you posted is a bit incomplete
To gather a DxDiag on your computer, please follow the steps below:
If you have Microsoft Windows XP:
1. Click the Start button on the Windows Taskbar.
2. Select Run.
3. Type dxdiag in the available text field.
4. Click OK.
5. Click Save All Information.
If you have Windows Vista/Win 7 and do not have a Run selection:
1. Click On Start
2. Type dxdiag into Search Box
3. Program opens
4. Click Save All Information.
Windows 8
1. Make sure you are on the tiled screen
2. Type DxDiag and hit enter
3. Program should open
4. Click Save All Information.
The whole thing won't fit into one post. Split it up in multiple posts.

Your CPU is low-end and your graphic chip also is right on the specs (which are low)
Your drivers are 5 years old so check if there are newer ones. That might help.
Otherwise, turn down your graphic settings and turn off mirror reflections to see if that gets rid of the crashing. If not, you might wanna look into a new computer.
